USTYYLIT M4U TRAINING
Below is a series of video tutorials that gives you quick access to the information you need to do business with Trands / M4U. Click on a section heading below to expand the topic and view the videos for each topic. You can come back to this page any time for quick refresher training, or for onboarding new salespeople within your own business.
SECTION 1 - HOME PAGE
1a: QUICK FABRIC CHECK
A demonstration of how to quickly check a fabric's status on the USTYYLIT Home Page. Also shows how you can use your mobile device to scan a QR code on a swatch sticker to get fabric info and other useful features.
1b: DETAILED FABRIC CHECK
This video demonstrates how to do a more detailed fabric lookup. It also explains how to identify the difference between fabrics stocked at our warehouse vs. Cut Length fabrics.
1c: ORDER STATUS CHECK
This video shows how to quickly check the status of an order. It also demonstrates how to quickly change your order search to view orders filtered by delivery status.
SECTION 2 - SETUP DEFAULTS
2a: SETUP JACKET & PANT DEFAULT MODELS
This video demonstrates how to setup default models for Jackets & Trousers. Setting up defaults makes order entry super-easy. It's worth the time investment.
2b: SETUP SHIRT DEFAULT MODELS
This video demonstrates how to setup a default shirt model. You can have as many default models as you wish. Starting from at least one that is setup the way you like, gives you the flexibility to create others on the fly as needed.
2c: FIT TOOL / GM / BM MEASUREMENT MODES
This video explains the 3 ways you can input measurements in USTYYLIT. Fit Tools, Garment Measurements, and Body Measurements plus Ease. Regardless of your preference, the rest of the order entry process is the same. You get to choose which measurement method works best for you.
2d: SETUP DEFAULT EASE FOR BM MODE
This video demonstrates how to setup your Default Ease values for BM order entry mode. Having your default ease values setup before you start placing orders means order entry goes by super-quickly.
SECTION 3 - PUTTING DEFAULT SETTINGS TO USE
3a: CREATE NEW BM ORDER USING DEFAULT EASE & MODEL SETTINGS
This video explains how to create a new BM order, taking advantage of using Default Ease and Default Model Settings already setup in your Shop Settings area.
3b: CREATE REPEAT ORDERS USING FIT PROFILES & DEFAULT MODELS
This video shows how easy it is to create a repeat order once your client's measurements are stored in a Fit Profile. This example also shows how to make use of a default 2 Button Peak lapel jacket model to create a new order for a Tuxedo.
3c: SAVE A NEW MODEL FROM A PREVIOUS ORDER
This video shows how to use the details of a previously placed order to create a new model. Then it shows how quickly a new order can be placed using the new model.
SECTION 4 - ORDER ENTRY ESSENTIALS
4a: HOW TO LOOKUP ORDERS
This video shows how to lookup previously placed orders, and how to quickly change the status of your lookup to find orders in the various stages of production.
4b: ORDERING MULTIPLE GARMENTS AT ONCE
This video shows how to enter more than one garment at the same time.
4c: COPY or CLONE ORDERS
This video shows how to copy an order to make a clone of it. Then you can edit the clone to create a new one that is very similar with minor changes. This is a useful feature when a customer orders multiple garments that are quite similar. It's also useful for copying a previous order he liked and wants another one the same but with different fabric / lining / buttons etc.
4d: CREATE FIT PROFILES WITHOUT CREATING AN ORDER
This video demonstrates how to create a measurement Fit Profile for a customer without going through the process of creating an order. This is a useful feature for bulk measuring situations like corporate selling and wedding parties. It's also useful if you are often not able to finalize an order in one sitting. By creating the profile first, you can finish the order quickly later on.

This video simply shows how to get to the USTYYLIT login page starting from TrandsUSA.com if you forget the address for USTYYLIT and don't already have it bookmarked.
5b: ACCESS TO SUPPORT AREA
This video shows how to login to our Support area. It also provides some examples of the various resources that can be found in the Support Knowledge Base library.
5c: ACCESS TO TRANDSFORMS
This video shows how to login to the TrandsForms page, and provides an example of how filling in a TrandsForm creates a support ticket which you can monitor in your support portal login.

6a: ORDER TRACKING - MOTHER vs BABY AWBs
This video demonstrates how to track an order at DHL.com and goes into detail about the difference between the Mother AWB vs Baby AWB.
6b: CMT ORDER 2-STEP PROCESS
This video outlines the 2-Step process required to send CMT orders to us. Step 1 is to place the order in USTYYLIT and fill out the fabric info in the pop-up window. Step 2 is to fill out our CMT Notification 'TrandsForm'.

This video explains how our manufacturing production and shipping cycle works for standard-delivery orders (non-rush).

This video explains how to place an Urgent Order that will be produced in 5 BUSINESS Days. Step 1 is to place the order and leave it On Hold. Step 2 is to submit the Urgent Order Online Form.

8a: PRIVATE WOVEN LABEL PROCESS OVERVIEW
This video describes the general process, decisions and required info you will need to order woven labels.
Step 1. Have your logo / artwork file(s) ready to upload.
Step 2. Know or Choose your Artwork’s Pantone Colors.
Step 3. Submit our online Label Info Form to advise your label needs.

8b: CHOOSE YOUR LABEL ARTWORK PANTONE COLORS
This video explains how to choose Pantone colors at pantone.com. Be sure to choose Pantone colors that end with the letter C or TPG. The video explains how to do that.
8c: SUBMIT THE ONLINE LABEL INFO FORM
This video demonstrates how to use the Woven Label Info form to provide us with your label requirements, including choosing a label shape & size and uploading your logo / artwork.
SECTION 9 - CREATING CUSTOM LININGS
Custom Lining Process Overview
1. Upload your image(s) to the Custom Lining Design Tool
2. Use the tool to choose the layout of your image(s) and submit the design
3. Place an order in USTYYLIT using the new lining number that is assigned to your design

9a: INTRODUCTION TO CREATING CUSTOM LININGS
This video provides a quick demonstration of the custom lining creation process using 1 image and then multiple images.
9b: UPLOADING YOUR OWN IMAGES
This video demonstrates how to upload images from your computer and crop or resize them to produce a clean, well-organized design. All without any previous graphic design experience.
9c: Using Images with no Background
This video demonstrates how to use logos / artwork with a transparent background so that you can choose a background color to create a new seamless design.
